Faithbooking Workshop

It's finally available! I've worked so hard on this faithbooking workshop. It includes a 20-page PDF of instructions as well as 40 collage sheets! That's not 40 collage sheet images, but 40 different collage sheets, each with multiple images. I've put this in my Etsy shop as an instant download. You can print these images over and over as many times as you like and use these in your journals, scrapbooking projects, card making projects, mixed media projects, etc. You can use these for personal use and for items that you create to sell, but they cannot be sold as PDF files or as-is. If you purchase this for a Bible study group, you have permission to make one copy for each participant in your group without each having to purchase the product. These collage sheets include blank journaling spots for your journals, She sayings (all faith-based), a variety of dolls and images, Christian images, Bible verses, hymn lyrics, vintage images and more. This is an over-the-top collection.

You can also purchase just the collage sheets. Here are some previews of the multiple collage sheets included.

Tag Easel Card Tutorial

Lori Delp has created a lovely Tag Easel Card tutorial for our website.  It's not exactly a mini album, but we have started a new page on our website specifically for other paper related projects and this is the first one we are including.  She used Graphic 45 papers, which always make a project look great.  Lori included a template for the easel and the tag and wrote very clear, thorough instructions.  Thank you so much, Lori.  She is working on another project for the website that will be published very soon.

Painting more paper...

I have been painting more and more paper for the Sewn class I am doing with Mary Ann Moss.  I even did a little bit of sewing to create paper fabric.  It is super fun and rather addictive.  The top piece I painted over one of my husband's old drawings.  Nice big "D" size paper.  LOVE IT!  He saw it yesterday and said he loves it too.  :-)

Piano Hinge Mini Album

By special request I have done up instructions on my website for the piano hinge mini scrapbook. (I had been wanting to add it anyway, but getting the request gave me the jump start I needed.) I used regular scrapbook paper that is actually white on the opposite side because I'm thinking of actually using this as a sort of art journal and those white pages will come in quite handy. You could also mat photos on colored cardstock. Or you could use double-sided paper, just make sure it is fairly lightweight as getting those skewers through the notches can be a little tough with a heavier paper.

ATC Paper Bag Pocket Book

I bought the supplies to make this ATC paper bag pocket book well over a year and a half ago! Do any of you do that? It isn't my intent when I start out, but time just flies, and then I forget about the project and other projects come up. Well, I am finally making it and it feels so good! I'll post the photos of the whole thing when I am done. I've got the base of the book done, the pull outs still need some cards and the first two-page spread is done.

Perfect Closures

I've had this glue book that I made out of a composition notebook about a year ago. The butterfly on the front was cut from a Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine. This book is just for me with no value other than a place to just goof around. This thing is fat and bulky and of course never closes all the way. The other day I got some Teresa Collins Perfect Closures and attached one and ... amazingly my book closes now! I guess you can paint, ink, et cetera the leather straps, but I didn't do anything with this one. I've inked another one, but haven't used it yet.
